A Matter of Size

So I was looking through some old pictures today and I came across this one. It it one of the few we have of the boys together when Search was younger. This picture is not only adorable but it's really funny. Why? Because Search's head is now bigger than Destroy's. In fact Search is just about the same size as his brother in every aspect except for his height. Their feet are almost the same size, the wear the same size shirt and even the same size pull-up (yes, Destroy still wears pull-ups to bed).

That's funny, because I was going through old photos on the computer today and marveling at how much our kids have grown. Maybe nostalgia is in the air!

Interesting that they're the same size in almost everything. Does that make their clothes & shoes more or less confusing for you?

Well since I only have two kids to remember whose is what (and not 4), it isn't that hard. I have a pretty good memory as to what item goes to which kid. But sometimes I think I should just mix and match their clothes because they can wear either, but they would probably realize that they were wearing each other's clothes and get mad. The only thing that wouldn't work is pants.

one day when he was about 8 months it decided to go blonde. People in our ward called him the "skunk".

So do you get up in the middle of the night and take destroy to the bathroom? That helped dragonfly, though occasionally, I still get up and take him. Maybe you should introduce that interruption into your already fragmented sleep time.

Search's (is that his name?) hair was so dark! Did it fall out? I've seen some babies where it's pitch black and then just starts growing blond all of a sudden. So, it looks like they need their roots touched up, ya know? :)

No, we don't get up to take Destroy to the bathroom. The 15 bucks a month we pay for pull-ups is worth it for my sleep. And, seeing that Aaron works mostly nights, it would be yours truly getting up with him. No thanks!

That picture is so precious. I can't believe how much they've grown up.

By the way, you have to post the Primary Program footage of Destroy. He totally stole the show!!

I know. I have to get the DVD of it then I will. But I'm a little worried that other parents wouldn't like it if I put their kids on so I'm going to try to just do Destroy's parts.

When are we going to hear about amazing/weird things that happen in the ER?

Aaron is going to post, he just needs to sit down and do it! It's not like he's never on the computer!
