I guess since everyone else is doing it... I will too.
New Years Goals:
1. Do not succumb to peer pressure. Sheesh, that one lasted long didn't it? ;)
2. Try to over-power my evening sweets craving by eating a carrot or apple. Maybe carrot cake or cookies with half applesauce, half butter :)
3. Stop using :) while blogging.
4. Change burnt out light bulbs as soon as they go out. Even if I have to get a ladder.
5. Floss more often (especially before my appointment in March so my dad doesn't think I don't floss:) oops, there goes #3.
6. Shower daily and do not wear same pajamas that I've worn all day and previous night to bed. Yes, I'm a 26-year-old woman, not a 10-year-old boy.
7. Take my make-up off at night.
8. Actually put make-up on so that I can take it off at night.
9. Do not run errands with out brushing teeth.
11. Do not blog while tired.
12. Attempt to control my neat-freakishness.
13. Stop using movies as a babysitter. Oh, but that extra hour of sleep in the morning is delightful!
14. Go to bed earlier so I don't need that extra hour of delightful sleep in the morning.
15. Delegate responsibilities and stop doing everything by myself.
16. Play cars, monsters eating lunch, snakes taking naps and whatever other game the kids are playing even when I really don't want to.
17. Quit being the backseat driver that I am.
18. Be more positive and less sarcastic.
19. Do not cram dishwasher full of dishes just to save a few pennies. They do not get clean.
20. Be more Christlike. This one just sums it all up so I'll stop here.
Sorry about my randomness. I can't help my strange nature. Happy New Year!

We are too much alike! I could also have posted every one of those! I love the pajama one ~ glad to know I am not alone!
What a great idea for a post! I've been out of the blogging world for a couple of weeks...we go back tomorrow. But, this is a fun post idea that I just may copy! Happy New Year!
I relate to so many of your goals, but for some reason feel no need to change those things about me. But let me just say, I think you could be more positive about things and not have to do be less sarcastic. I like sarcasm. It's the best.
all i have to say is way to many goals... simplify simpllify right. well hope you are surviving the winter out there! i loved your christmas card!
love, lacey
I could have copied MANY of those goals. You're not alone in your neurosis. Keep us posted on how you do. I refuse to do goals. They just cause me extra stress and pressure and add to my "said I would do, did not do" list.
P.S. comment deleted was me ... signed on as my sister?!?
I also found myself saying "ditto" to almost every one of them. But I'm with Brooke, no need to change (I'm eating chocolate and it's midnight as I write this) :) I couldn't resist the smiley face, sorry.
HA! I love you! It is 1:00am and I'm eating christmas chocolate, blogging and thinking I shouldn't be writing anything this late at night. SO just going to say Happy New Year and sorry again for taking so long to get back to you :)
you are too crazy and funny! and bold and brave to write all you do. random, but true. I am thinking of my list of goals for the new year, but they are more serious like the move and try for a baby in the Fall (Opps don't tell mike). But I should think of the little things. I am sure I could come up with a lot, similar to yours.
