Date

Today I had a date with my husband. Can you see him??? We got to rake leaves. 16 big piles.
Ahhh... I feel better. But my hands sure don't!
Tomorrow brings part 2 of our date. The other half of our yard!

Whatever happened to just mowing them?

That is an amazing back yard. Lots of work though!

Mowing... yes, that would work if our lawn mower wasn't broken.

I thought I had it bad in my yard but yours is about 3 times worse than mine! It will look so pretty once it's all cleaned up! What do you do with all the leaves once you put them in the trash bags? We only have one garbage can so we have a huge pile of bags out front waiting for their turn to be put in the can.

haha oh geez... atleast you have your own big backyard. That does look like a lot of work though. It looks really green there... I miss the green. So I thought your husband was burried in the closest leaf pile... but I think that's him in the far back on the left. =)

Wow! That is amazing! I want to know how many bags it took to bag it and did the trash guy take it all out at the same time.

that does not look like fun. good exercise though! did you bury the kids in the leaves?

We throw all the leaves in the forest. A lot of our neighbors burn them though. It would take boxes and boxes of bags to get these leaves taken care of.

I was just gonna ask if you burned them next? That's one of my vivid memories of living in Michigan... spending all day Saturday raking the leaves and then burning them.

Does Home Depot rent leaf blowers? If so, I would pay the big bucks and borrow one!!!

We have a leaf blower but they don't work as well as raking... and the leaves were wet.

Ugh...I guess there is a down side to having a huge yard.
