We take Gavin to the bathroom when it's time for bed and then we take him again when we go to bed. His dr said that their little blatters can only hold a few ounces and so emptying it as much as possible helps. Worked for us!
I basically stopped being bugged by it. She comes from a long line of bed wetters, (me, grandma, great aunt, uncle...). She also has sleep issues, so it's all related. Anyway. Try the no liquids, putting them on the potty, but if it still doesn't work (like it didn't for us), happily buy those pullups because it's a lot easier than laundry.

No liquids after dinner. Or, if you think peer pressure would work, just tell the friends. That's mean, but it worked for my in-laws!

Get them up when you go to bed to go. Or just wait. It took our oldest until last year to stop having periodic wetting. Boys are stubborn that way.
Three words: apricots, apricots, apricots. And two more: plastic bag. One more: hose.
